Game on, students!

How do you bring tech to an event already powered by the most well-known gaming platform in the world? Nintendo was looking to expand the reach of Nintendo Switch to college and university students, so we developed a hands-free, digital-focused registration and tracking system for their campus tour—one that could easily be adapted to life under pandemic-related restrictions. We built a microsite for students to register on their own devices for upcoming Nintendo Switch events, streamlining the flow and lessening the strain for on-site staff. Customized, handheld digital tracking tools helped staff verify the registration status of students, allocate check-in credits by station, and take down registration data in the event of a network failure. Through our digital prizing application, students could become eligible for prizes based on how many NIntendo Switch stations they checked into. All interactives were rooted in our robust, road-tested Backend platform, which delivered the dependability necessary to take a technological leap forward with this gaming experience.
