Pivoting around a global pandemic
In-person events looked a lot different in 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. AstraZeneca had to quickly pivot their Survivors Have Heart initiative (in which Bob Harper of The Biggest Loser moderated conversations with heart attack survivors, their families, and their caregivers) to virtual livestream events. AstraZeneca came to us to help produce virtual events while also managing a wish list of back-of-house needs. We assembled remote gear kits for 12 remote speakers to deliver HD-quality content, then produced and directed the livestream events, switching between live and pre-produced content. After each event, we uploaded footage to the cloud so our editors could begin same-day edits with quick turn-around times.

In a time when everyone seemed to suffer from Zoom fatigue, we delivered virtual events that were equally engaging and inspiring, and earned the kind of results that warm our hearts.
